My First Blog Post – Welcome!
Greetings! …and welcome to my first blog post here at Blog-i-poli! I’m so grateful to my friend and tech wiz Kirk VandenBerghe (HealthyNewAge.com) for his help to make this possible… If you’re a person like me who has way too many things going, you need to be really efficient lest the whole enchilada comes crashing down on you. I’m praying that this blog approach to sharing will be a step in that joyful efficiency. If you are interested in the things that I have to share, the adventures that I go on, and the projects that I’m involved in, then you’ll subscribe to my blog posts through our RSS feed……and that will make it easy for me to communicate and reach out.
Too Many Things?
Want to take a test to see if you have too many things going on in your life? OK, answer the following questions:
- How many windows do you have open on your computer desktop right now?
- How many of those miserable yellow Post-Its do you have plastered around your desk area?
- How many inches deep are the piles of paper within arm’s reach?
- How many pieces of paper with important notes or reminders are within your field of vision?
- How many empty cups are scattered on your desk? (and the last tie-breaker…)
- How many unopened, non-spam emails are sitting in your inbox?
OK, now count up all 6 numbers. If number is between 6 and 50, you are most likely a Zen Master. If the number is between 51 and 100, you deserve a job as an Administrative Assistant and wouldn’t get paid enough for your gifted talents. If you are in the 200+ range, you are entering the “too many things” zone. If your cumulative number is higher than 1,000, you are probably in deep trouble and should seek administrative, if not mental, help. Welcome to the 21st Century. If you are interested, my numbers–at this very moment–are 16, 9, 18, 28, 1, 2292. Total: 2,364
The Year of the Rat
So, as we enter the Year of the Rat in Chinese cosmology–I’ll write more on this as we closer to the actual new year date in early February of 2008–we have lots of powerful energy available to us to not only change old, stagnant patterns, but to accomplish tasks that we didn’t seem like we had the energy for in the past. How to access this ability is the key…
Getting Back in Sync
For me, Qigong practice is the fastest and easiest pathway to accessing my untapped energies. This ancient practice of breathing, movement, and visualization helps me get in touch with my subtle energy (Qi, pronounced “chee”) and then put it to work. Ultimately, it is a process of “remembering”… getting back in sync with our latent abilities and remembering that this life is a dream… a waking dream. Remembering and working with this will free you of the fear and limitations that have held you back from living the life you’ve wanted.
Let Go & Trust
This is the stuff we’ll be discussing here… so stay tuned. We’ll explore exercises, meditations, music, and thoughts that hopefully will inspire you to let go and trust… to open to your potential…Thanks for coming along on the adventure… I wish you ease and abundance… Peace… Francesco

Way cool! This is the way of the future…or is the future already here?
I’m glad I’m not the only one with way to many projects going on. Some of my friends think I’m a Renaissance Man, actually its just ADD but don’t tell anyone.
This is a great new feature and I’m looking forward to reading your blog. I wish I was in the Hawaii area but I’m sure when the time comes I’ll get there. I love your videos and have learned a lot from them. Keep up the great work.
Bruce
Greetings – My wife and I have each been dealing with a series of serious health issues and, as part of our process of life style changes, purchased two of your DVDs on QiGong. We have been practicing with you every morning as part of our daily routine and have found it to be a perfect means to start the day. Sincere thanks for inspiring us to enter a larger world through your exercise regime. SK
I have been watching (and doing) your Qigong beginning pracitce dvd and cannot believe how much it has been helping me. I’ve only been doing it for a few weeks, but it has been great! I appreciate the fluidity of the movements, that you don’t overexplain things, and the music in the background. I can already tell my body is “harnessing” chi in a different way.
Thank you!

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Garripoli,
I’ve just watched my new DVD ‘Qigong For Beginners’ that also includes the documentary about Qigong and the scientific evidence of its healing effects. All I can say is “WOW!” The documentary is fantastic, and just filled with information, that I wish everyone in the world could see. I just did the practice session of the DVD and I feel great! I also really appreciated the interview section, and your personal story brought tears to my eyes.
There are many great teachers in our world today that are doing so much to raise consciousness on our planet. Your DVD is so powerful that I will be sharing your contact and Qigong information on my web site, Facebook, and in emails to friends and family. I can think of so many people who can benefit from your simple, yet outstanding practice DVD. It will be my pleasure to try to send as many people as possible your way. I believe that we can change the world, just by sharing information, and trying to raise awareness of all the wonderful tools we have at our fingertips.
Thank you from the depths of my heart for what you are doing! Many blessings to you!
Yours very sincerely,
Rose Winstanley-Trefz

Dear Rose,
Aloha!
Your heartfelt energy flows! Thank you for your openness and caring.
Each effort we make – every thought we have – contributes to the world as we know it. Whether we create an epic documentary or whether we help a neighbor, our efforts are essentially “equal.” What we put out into our “dreaming” flows infinitely in ways that we can barely comprehend. I pray that every inspiration we receive can help us to remember this and continue to send good Qi out into the world, out into our “dreaming.”
In ease and abundance… and gratitude.
Peace…
Francesco
I did your Qigong Detox DVD, on the 4th day when my hands passed over my body my right palm would react with points in my body. Like my knees my ankels the bends of my arms over my pelvis. And even for a few days after that when i was tring to explain it to people if i put my hand over the point there would be a vibration a force. I dont understand if i should continue.
Dear Kathy,
Aloha! Thank you for sharing your experience with doing the Qigong For Cleansing and Strengthening (Zhang Fu Gong) also known at Qigong Detox. The DVD gives a lot of information but of course is nothing like coming to a workshop where we have more time to explain theory and talk about experiences such as what you are feeling. This is wonderful and you are fortunate to feel the affects of Qi flowing in your body. Many people practice for years without having your experience. Qigong is all about listening… observing… and proceeding with grace and an open heart. No one has definitive answers about Qi or the healing affects of Qigong. This is for you to discover. It is your own, inner healing potential at work. This Qigong form is a powerful one that helps you wake up that potential. Trust. Most of our life keeps us asleep to our potential. These feelings you are get are signs that you are listening and waking to your natural abilities. I send you supportive wishes on your path to personal empowerment and deep healing and growth. Peace… Francesco
I didn’t know anything about Qi Gong except what is on the DVD. I turned your Qi Gong into a prayer containing; praising, recieving, and sharring. I say,”I don’t understand what is happening”, you say, “Trust.” UNKNOWING + TRUST = FAITH, faith is were i have been operating most all my life. Thank You for your imput. I will proceed, because like you i want to help others find thier way. Peace, Hope, Joy… Kathy
Is it ok to feel weak when you finish qigong. I do it in the morning before breakfast. Am I doing something wrong? I follow your tape and I love it. But I doint feel energize right away.
aloha!
the feeling after practicing Qigong is unique to everyone… some people get energized, some fall asleep… some even may wake up a tingle of pain here and there… Qigong is about listening… I have always referred to it as “sensitivity training”… so watch and listen… see what this “weak” feeling you experience after your morning practice is telling you… there is always a gift waiting when you observe with an open heart… you may also consider having a warm tea and piece of whole wheat toast and butter or jam before you practice… nothing heavy, but something to stabilize your blood sugar first… enjoy the unfolding and listening to your body/spirit wisdom… Peace…
